National rescue ride |
|
Various rescues across the United States are hosting rides on Saturday, October 3rd to help highlight the plight of horses in our country. You can sign up for the ride online– please use the link below. Please choose Hanaeleh/Bethany’s Gait as your charity! The ride fee is $20, which is payable to the National Rescue Ride, and you will receive a t-shirt that you can wear at the ride, so be sure to sign up early. When you sign up for the ride/walk, you can print out a sponsorship form– on this form, you can ask any of your friends or neighbors to help sponsor you for the ride. Hanaeleh and Bethany’s Gait do not receive any of the $20 entry fee, but we do get 100% of the sponsorship money, so we thank you for any of your efforts to try to gain sponsors! The ride/walk will be held at O’Neill Park, and we will be meeting at the equestrian arena. The ride will begin at 9:00am and the walk at 9:30am. If you are planning on camping the day before, please e-mail: ezarkos@hanaeleh.com to ensure that there is a campsite available. All riders will receive a goodie bag, and there will be refreshments for all riders and walkers. A BBQ lunch will be held after the ride for $5, and we will be holding a raffle, so be sure ot plan on staying afterward! We are in need of sponsors for t-shirts, food, and raffle prizes. If you can donate anything for the ride, please call as soon as possible- (949) 842-7408. Hanaeleh is a non-profit organization, so donations are tax-deductible!
